There are not many female Tech entrepreneurs but being one has it’s advantages:
- At networking events there are no queues to the toilet.
- There is a high demand for female entrepreneurs speaking at events and conferences especially in the tech industry.
- Often there is no need for an office at the early stage of businesses so women don’t have to worry about what to wear every morning and they can spend more time working.
- Businesses managed by women have a better chance of survival:
- In general, women connect with other people easier than men and are better communicators. Therefore creating new contacts and friendships during networking events is easier for women. Also, women are more likely to ask for advice and consider other people's opinions. That saves a lot of time and helps them to get where they want to go faster. source
- Many businesses fail after a few months just because the founder gave up. It takes time to develop a business especially in the tech industry.
Women are generally more patient than men - but only if there are young children in the family. source - Women are natural marketers. They are so passionate and enthusiastic about what they choose to do that they just do not stop talking about it. source
- Women are better multi-taskers. One study shows that women are more accurate when multitasking, but that both sexes are equally productive.

- Another study showed that women are better at strategic planning when multitasking. Women are more flexible and trust their intuition more often, allowing them to adapt their plans faster. source
- Women are good at motivating staff and recognise problems faster and more accurately.
