How can we design a fast, simple user interface designed for large-scale many-to-many conversations?

I'vebeen saying this for a while this morning, but I think Yoomoot has verygood design objectives. Ithink what would be really interesting for me -- would simply be todiscuss in an open way the fundamental issue of "How can we design afast, simple user interface designed for large-scale many-to-manyconversations?"
Myguess would be -- that a lot of what Yoomoot is doing here (maybe all ofit) would be appropriate for addressing that design problem.   I seem tobe interested in pursuing this with Yoomoot, because I am looking at thesame kinds of questions, and exploring similar kinds of answers (designsolutions).

Via a "fast click" approach based on bullet points and character limits

On a somewhat related project I have beencreating, I think what I want to do is "build an alliance oforgasnizations and users" -- that is based on a "fast click" approachto selecting bullet points, building connectivity between comments orfacets or bullets simply as a comma-delimited list of comment/bulletdatabase id numbers.   So far, that technique seems to work very well, using MS SQL Server as the underlying database and ColdFusion (fromAdobe) as the web programming language.
Ilike the idea of a short headline or title -- Twitter's limit is 140characters, I think Yoomoot's is shorter.   In SQL Server, I can adjust thatlength, and at the moment, I tend to offer more space.   Maybe what weneed is a very fast way to click through or select these "headings" --and offer a way to add more detail by way of explanation -- kind oflike this space I am writing into right now...
