How do you define Love?

Enjoying the tenderness of the best ever felt

Through love we are introduced the pleasure of enjoying tenderness that is more than ever felt before. And it's so strong until it causes an addiction. From here love creates a desire to always be able to feel tenderness the best ever felt.

What does love have to do with finding a mate? To be able more often giving to our feeling enjoying tenderness the best ever felt. And many people make sacrifices for this.

Experiencing love means to feel the softness of the best ever felt. Outside it was just  "I like it"

Intense positive feelings directed at something or the intention to treat something well

The English 'word' love is an extremely nebulous concept and is used to refer to all kinds of different things. The Ancient Greeks famously had four different words for love . However I don't think this makes 'love' a redundant word since I think all the concepts 'love' is used to refer to include either intense positive feelings or the intention to treat something well, or, most commonly, both. (Note that these two definitions show that love can be both passionate and dispassionate)

I don't, I let it define me.

I am defined by the sum of my experiences, some of which are good and some are bad: That's life.

Love for me is something like many intense and yet equally subtle (at times) emotions; one that doesn't really have a single definition or experience. I love my mother. I also love my girlfriend and I loved my cat. They weren't all the same love, but they were all the same emotion.

I guess I simply don't have the philosophical, psychological or emotional know-how to be able to express what love means to me in words, or even in an articulate sense inside my brain (or heart/soul perhaps?).

I know what love is, I have and do experience it. But, I couldn't explain to you what it is, anymore than I could explain to a blind person what the colour red was like, or to a deaf person what it is like to hear a piece of music.
